Back to School is time for Moms too---time to consider that one day you won't be spending every moment on your children's lives. Then will you remember what you wanted to be when YOU grow up? Time to think about this now......on the first day of school, after you dry your tears and sit down with a cup of green tea, think about what you would do if you had time. That's it! Just consider for awhile....don't try to come to any conclusions yet. Would I learn something new or take up doing what I did BC (before children)? Would I travel or go back to school or just take an long bath? Seems crazy but we've all seen the middle-age woman who doesn't even know what she wants anymore, and Threading Lives is a place to combat that sorry state with help from those who have been there--I'm approaching retirement myself but have spent my days with hundreds of young mothers, so I see both sides of this. What can I do to help? What's helped you?
